My current project involves the generation of new tools to study the immune system of pigs as part of a joint US-UK BBSRC-NIFA funded Swine Immune Toolkit Initiative.
I obtained my BSc in biochemistry from University College London and gained further laboratory experience during a technical position at the University of Bath. I then moved to Bristol, where I completed a PhD in biochemistry at the University of Bristol. I am keen to apply the skills I have acquired in each of these positions to develop new reagents to study the pig immune system.
